From the creative mind of Courtney Randolph, founder of Creative Brand Engineers, comes the most forward thinking children’s book series of the next generation. In collaboration with world renowned artist and illustrator, Salaam Muhammad, comes PAYTON AND THE B-SCHOOL DIARIES.
Courtney has been a budding entrepreneur since middle school and high school. Designing her own business cards to do nails in her neighborhood, charging her peers to design their social media pages on sites such as Black Planet and MySpace. She became interested in the wealth real estate could bring when she helped sell a real estate property through her father’s company to high school friend’s mother.
Courtney saw opportunity for branding and entrepreneurship in many spaces at a young age. Today she runs Creative Brand Engineers, a creative brand positioning agency based in Detroit, MI. She saw the rising tidal wave of entrepreneurship and digital sharing. At the same time she saw a huge gender gap in education. She believed that successful businesses and education go hand in hand.
Coming from spending three and a half years at the University of Michigan, Courtney knew the importance of education for all women and girls. She also saw that business and entrepreneurship was missing in secondary schools. She knew if school aged girls could have the basics then they could be setup to take over the world during and after college.
From this she created Payton and The B-School Diaries named after her daughter Payton.
